z Right click the target datastore and click Browse Datastore.
z Click Upload button on the toolbar and select the file you want to upload.
z Click OK button to continue with the upload files into the target datastore.

z Citrix XenServer: A virtual-machine monitor allows several guest operating systems to execute on the
same computer hardware concurrently. XenServer is supported by Citrix systems, Inc.
z IP address: An IP address is a series of numbers that identifies a particular computer or NIC on a
network. IP is an abbreviation for Internet Protocol.
z HTTPS: Abbreviation for HTTP Secure. It provides encryption and secure identification of servers by
using HTTP with SSL/TLS protocol. HTTPS connection is usually used for the sensitive transaction.
z Power Device Network Utility: Is an easy to use tool to setup network configurations of the UPS
RMCARD/PDU. This includes setting the IP address, subnet mask, or gateway of UPS RMCARD/PDU.
z PDU: A PDU is a device which provides power output controls for individual outlets and connected
equipment. PDU is an abbreviation for Power Distribution Unit.
z SNMP: The simple network management protocol. It is used by network management systems for
monitoring network-attached devices for conditions that warrant administrative attention.
z SSL: Abbreviation for Secure Sockets Layer. SSL is a transaction security standard that provides data
encryption, server authentication, and message integrity.
z TCP/UDP: Family of protocols for the transport and network layers.
z TLS: Abbreviation for Transport Layer Security. TLS is a cryptographic protocol which provides
communication security over the internet. TLS and SSL provide data encryption and server
authentication for message reliability.
z vMA: Abbreviation for vSphere Management Assistant. A virtual machine that includes prepackaged
software and supported by the VMware, Inc. allows administrators to run scripts and agents to manage
ESXi hosts.
z VMware ESX/ESXi: An enterprise-level computer virtualization product offered by VMware, Inc. It is a
component of VMware’s larger offering, VMware Infrastructure, and adds management and reliability
services to the core server products.
